Religious Advent Calendar in Felt - Start a tradition in your home of counting the days until Christmas with Mary and Joseph winding their way to the city of Bethlehem in this unique fabric advent calendar. The birth of Jesus can be told with shepherds, wise men, Mary and Joseph, and the Christ Child.
Set includes Velcro dots to glue, an unmounted 18" x 30" background, 9 felt figures to cut in various sizes, and complete instructions.This cannot be ordered mounted, but there is enough plain felt fabric on the top and bottom to insert dowels and add your own gold braiding or other material to make a wall hanging. Glitter fabric paint (not included) can be added to the star and angels to highlight their light.

Build excitement and count down the 12 days of Christmas by bringing out one part of this set on each of 12 consecutive days before you start using the set.
Day 1: Bring out the Advent Calendar felt background
Day 2: Bring out a dowel, rope and instructions for hanging the background. Work on it as a family.
Day 3: Place the velcro dots along the path.
Day 4: Bring out the figure of Mary, Joseph and the donkey and explain how and when you'll start counting down the days.
Day 5: Introduce the Manger figure.
Day 6: Bring out the Angel figure.
